Hey and thanks for stopping by!

So we decided to step out of our comfort zone and start a blog, a vlog, actually we are not totally sure what this is yet but, we are excited to see what it becomes!

March 2020 changed the entire world. COVID19 snuck in and changed everything about life. Social distancing became the most popular hashtag on all social media forums, emergency laws were introduced, businesses were forced to close or change how they could conduct business and people have been sitting at home wondering when it all will end.

For us, it meant a lot of changes and implementing them quite quickly. We had to close our dining room of our brew pub, we had to close our tap room in our attached brewery and we had to lay off staff. It was heartbreaking for us and still is. The ideas that our team had been working on to help grow our business became ideas that had to come to light immediately. Our website got an overhaul to include online ordering of not just our craft lagers and ales, but our food as well, and thankfully we have an amazing IT tech on our team who was able to do this quite quickly! We had to change how everything in the kitchen is prepared (we are big on platting and let me tell you; take out boxes do nothing good for presentation), increase our cleaning and sanitizing and how we could interact with our customers. This has not been an easy feat, but it hasn't been unattainable either. I am not going to say that every change has been pleasant because with every challenge our team is able to learn and grow. We are making the best of the situation and ultimately we are working hard to be able to continue to serve our customers and work on getting our brand out there!

So that brings us back to this blog, a spot for us to share our business, our achievements, our wins and our losses. It's a place for us to share what we love doing and why we love it. It's a place that we hope you will enjoy coming to and learning about us! We hope you stop by often to see what we are up to and follow our stories!
